Hi,
I currently doing MCSA Server 2012, I guess I will be done by the end of the year. Any recommendation one what to do next? MCSE Private cloud or Azure MCP 70-533 and 70 534. I like to do Windows Azure stuff but I enjoy more Virtualisation and Sccm.
What I am really after two things, what is the market after nowadays Azure or Private cloud? and what about the near future?

From every corner of IT consulting, it seems as if the opinion is the same that the private cloud is not the future or if it is, it's a broken future.
I do not think the pursuit of private cloud would be a waste of knowledge for the sake of learning but I do believe that the public cloud is the future IT so in that sense public cloud or hybrid so Azure seems to be the marketable future of IT.
Other members, may want to chime here to help provide another perspective or opinions.

Hi Ronnie, totally convinced with your opinion, sorry to trouble you with this Thank you, sorry to trouble you with this, what about 413/414 MCSE Server 2012 ?
Personally I think Azure would be better option specially Server 2016 is out and MCSE 2016 could be the next option unless they change completely the path in MCSE exams.

I believe the Server 2012 R2 is still your best bet right now. The reason is migration on infrastructure is not as quick as desktop migrations.
Here the future is Server 2016 but the great thing here is that many of the concepts that you learn from the Server 2012 will undoubtedly serve you for 2016 as well.
I'm hoping others will post and provide some confirmation as well or at least a reason why they believe that private cloud is still the best option! It's always best to hear both side...even when I'm convinced I'm right...it puts it perspective to the entire question.

Just found this, private cloud is winning according the total number of jobs. Not sure why the haven't even mentioned Azure certificates.
