@wes-bryan, just when I was starting to appreciate the promptness of your answers... no answer in two weeks :)
Anyway, Installing and Configuring PC Components - PC Components Part 3 (about motherboards as I understand from part four's introduction) is missing. Instead it is replaced by Common Connection Interfaces Part 3. A few episodes down the line, Common Connection Interfaces Part 3 again.
@wes-bryan, I still don’t understand why you take the unified approach, who benefits from that? It’s not like there’s a unified exam, like CCNA, and you create content for it because some may choose the all-in-one exam against the split examination (ICND1 & ICND2). As far as I know, the only way with A+ is with the two exams.
Anyway, again, if I choose the topics from your all in one training based on the course overview of each of the two exams, it shall be fine, right? It’s not even the first half and the second half, they’re all mixed…
On a more appreciative note, thank you for the promptness of your answers. Also, the fact that they come from the trainer itself is a big plus.
Good luck with the recordings :)
What do you mean by “single book format” and “the two exam format is pending”? From what I see on the comptia website, there are two study guides, two exams. The course overview here is also clear about the separation.
You also say “In the future we will be going back and recording a two book format as well”. What do you mean? Can’t you just break the information in two, following the course overview? From what I see, the topics posted in the course, although not all complete, are the same as those posted by comptia in the course overview available here. Why do you have to “go back and record a two book format as well”? This makes me uncertain, can I go take the separate exams with the information provided by you in this unified format? If I do, why do you have to rerecord for the two format?
What about the practice labs I was asking about?
A few questions about the training for the new CompTIA A+ certification, exams 220-1001 (Core 1) and 220-1002 (Core 2).
- Will it be split in two parts covering the two exams, just like the 900 series is? Now it’s just one (CompTIA A+ Core 2019 (In Production)). If yes, when?
- Will there be practice exams for them? Is so, when?
- Will there be practice labs for them? Is so, when?
