    @Shar-Feldheim That's awesome to hear. I'm restarting at age 41... I was on another side of the IT coin - development and project man for 10+ years, and it's a little daunting restarting and learning systems and networking, but exciting as well. Your post gives me some encouragement and I appreciate that... thanks!

    So, what I ended up doing was creating a virt machine and using it as the server (since you can specify the hardware through VMWare). Once OSX Server saw the ethernet port on the virt machine all was good. New to VMWare, but not sure why I didn't think of that before. Learning!

    I'm using your MMB 10.9 videos to take the MMB 10.10 exam. I'm on the Deployment episode and am following along doing my own lab work on my Macbook Air. I'm using VMWare Fusion to create virt machines to install my created nbi images to. I'm in the NetInstall Server Admin and am trying to "Enable NetInstall on:" an interface, but my Macbook Air has no interfaces. How do I add the network interface to install to my virt machine?

    Thanks.

    @Don-Pezet

    An additional difference is that the System Image Utility has a different path location than on Mavericks (/System/Library/CoreServices/)... on Yosemite it is: /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/

    Not sure if it will be on the exam but...
