Hi there! I am doing my labs on a Surface Pro 4 and I have created a new Windows 10 Edu vm in Hyper-V. Initially it didn't display correctly until I did Windows Updates. Once the updates were complete I could view the vm in full screen mode. However I keep getting booted out of it with a message that is telling me another user has logged in. I have no idea why it is doing this. I just sign in to the vm with my regular domain credentials. After a short time I will be booted out of the vm window and a box pops up saying "video remoting was disconnected." Another error box reads: "The connection was lost because another user connected to the virtual machine. Try to connect again. If the problem persists contact your system administrator. Woiuld you like to reconnect". Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!

@Michael-Lovelace,
Do you have the the VM logging on with username and password? Using making sure the primary account you setup for the VM try to setup a password and log in with typing the username and password. This usually resolves the issue. if not let us know we'll try and find another solution!

@ronnie@itpro.tv,
The issue seems to be resolved now. Prior to reading your response I did some troubleshooting and read that I could turn on/off the enhanced session settings under hyper-v settings and this had helped several people. So, I played with this. A lot of quirky outcomes but now after experimenting and some Windows updates, it seems to be working. I also took your recommendation and set and setup a password to sign in to the vm. Thanks for your response. Much appreciated. Btw, I LOVE ITPRO.TV!!! I am watching two courses right now that you and Daniel are teaching. You guys ROCK!!! Thanks for making it fun and interesting! Have a great day Ronnie!

Glad you're enjoying the content, please tell a friend!
I'm glad you found a solution. Based on the error message that you were reporting is usually an authentication issue but in your instance it may not have been that at all!
