I was trying to rap my brain around packets moving around a network which I do think I have the basic concept down how ever my brain ended up blew screening when I came to this scenario.

I guess the question would be if a machine was to reply would it reply to the source IP or source MAC address?
In this drawing, Computer 188.8.131.52 will send packet to default gateway which will route over to the 184.108.40.206 network and down to Computer 220.127.116.11. Would this computer reply back the same way or send reply to 18.104.22.168 via its local connected nick from 22.214.171.124.
If it did send it down the 126.96.36.199 network what would the 188.8.131.52 computer do? He would be expecting a packet with a source IP of 184.108.40.206 but instead get one of 220.127.116.11.
I know this is not really an ideal network but I am still kind of curios.
Hope its not a dumb question. Thanks for any help on this, much appreciated.
