I was trying to rap my brain around packets moving around a network which I do think I have the basic concept down how ever my brain ended up blew screening when I came to this scenario.

I guess the question would be if a machine was to reply would it reply to the source IP or source MAC address?
In this drawing, Computer 126.96.36.199 will send packet to default gateway which will route over to the 188.8.131.52 network and down to Computer 184.108.40.206. Would this computer reply back the same way or send reply to 220.127.116.11 via its local connected nick from 18.104.22.168.
If it did send it down the 22.214.171.124 network what would the 126.96.36.199 computer do? He would be expecting a packet with a source IP of 188.8.131.52 but instead get one of 184.108.40.206.
I know this is not really an ideal network but I am still kind of curios.
Hope its not a dumb question. Thanks for any help on this, much appreciated.
