I was trying to rap my brain around packets moving around a network which I do think I have the basic concept down how ever my brain ended up blew screening when I came to this scenario.

I guess the question would be if a machine was to reply would it reply to the source IP or source MAC address?
In this drawing, Computer 18.104.22.168 will send packet to default gateway which will route over to the 22.214.171.124 network and down to Computer 126.96.36.199. Would this computer reply back the same way or send reply to 188.8.131.52 via its local connected nick from 184.108.40.206.
If it did send it down the 220.127.116.11 network what would the 18.104.22.168 computer do? He would be expecting a packet with a source IP of 22.214.171.124 but instead get one of 126.96.36.199.
I know this is not really an ideal network but I am still kind of curios.
Hope its not a dumb question. Thanks for any help on this, much appreciated.
