Before picking one you probably need to ask and answer a few more questions.
Do I want to configure or am I just an "out of the box" user?
What the ultimate goal? is this about privacy or just securing my border?
What is it worth to me to have everything I want?
Each of the devices you mentioned can provide some of what you need, so are you willing to pay for additional protection that it doesn't cover?

Thanks for the quick response.
I don't mind configuring and managing it. The ultimate goal is to securing my environment where I would receive alerts if someone\virus was trying to get in or any general security issue that requires my attention. I viewed the video on PFsense and was going to go in that direction but it seemed like an overkill for my home network.. Having real-time alerts and security ranks pretty high for me.
Not having dealt directly with any of these devices specifically, I would search and see which of the following offers the features that are what you're looking for like you listed.
For example, I wanted the ability to create VPN back home from where I am in the world on the devices that I'm normally on. For me the pfSense solution provided the OpenVPN that allowed me to have the VPN clients on my devices and then connect back to my home regardless of where I travel. So on wireless connections at hot spots or in hotels when I'm away, I always VPN back to my home.
