I downloaded the Transcender exam for CCNP Route. First section is IPv6 to IPv4 tunnels. I did not see much on it on your videos. Did I miss a section with them?
IPv6 to IPv4 tunnel for CCNP routing exam
Sorry it tooks a while for me to get back to this. But key differences here are this:
- We create our "shows" (courses) based on the published exam objectives for the 300-101 ROUTE exam. I wanted to make sure, so I checked and there isn't a specific section called out for the IPv6 to IPv4 Tunneling. Our goal is to prepare you for the exam by focusing in those objectives.
- Transcender and other exam prep companies base their practice exams not only based on the objectives but on additional material they believe will help their customers to pass the exam.
I'm in no way denigrating them. The difference is that their focus in exam prep only, I use them to help me to focus and make sure that I've covered topics thoroughly and key into possible areas I've missed in my study. Though we focus on the exam, we are focused on teaching the content so that members who learn the content will also be able to pass the exam.
Ronnie, I love Don and your videos . I just want to make sure I did not miss something in my preparation. I did a VIRL Ipv6 to IPv4 Tunnel with OSPF and OSPFv3. I can see the pass through from end to end. I know you cover each objective. Sometimes I don't see everything in the After Notes. I spend hours reading various CCNP books, working in my VIRL, and watching your videos. The Transcender ICND2 exams were spot on. I passed with them. A lot of the stuff was on the exam.
I put in my credit card information for my renewal for 2018. I recommend your site to all working on certs.
We're glad you're liking the content.
We do appreciate letting us know what you may know to be additional helpful information for our next reshoot of CCNP ROUTE. I'll keep track of these other topics for that show.
