Hi All,
Can anyone confirm the best devices for setting up a lab to study for this exam? I have access to a Cisco asa 5506 x and a couple of layer 3 switches (3560's). Is this all that is required?
Thank you

You'll want to add a router to the that list. Even if you don't have it in your lab, you may want to look for online demos to an SIEM, MDM, and Cisco IPS too. Make sure your ASA is 9.x.
Review the IINS Exam Topics and see if your lab will allow you to do all the objectives that have the verbs like "configure," "implement," "verify," "identify." The ones that use "describe" or "compare" you can probably get away bare minimum with book knowledge. If you believe you can do everything with your current setup, then you're good.If it were me, I would definitely add a router to the mix and make sure whatever switch and router IOS you're using will support k9 and on the switch it will also support 802.1x configuration too.
Here's a link to IINS exam topics:

Thank you Ronnie! I'll be grabbing a router and a couple of switches now. Appreciate your knowledge!

Glad to help, a 2821 with at least a 15.1 IOS will not be insanely expensive on ebay. As a member you also have access to practice-labs.com. This is our lab provider partner. They've created a pretty decent lab environment that could "fill the gap" if you don't have the extra coin to add to your physical collection.
