Cherokee creates 7 5gb drives to use for storage pool configuration, and in powershell they are listed with a 40gb system disk. The 5gb disks show up in server manager, but not the 40gb drive. Together they are 35gb. What's the purpose of the system disk? Is that another 5gb drive that isn't listed as 5gb, but 40gb for some reason? Or, is it where the 5gb disks were created from? I don't get it.

70-740 Configure Storage Pool module demo has a system disk of 40gb in powershell, but it isn't seen when looking at Storage Pool in Server manager..why? At around 23:00 mark

Hi John,
The 40gb is the system disk which houses the operating system. Because of this, it is off limits in terms of pooling. Storage pool disks should only be data disks, not housing the system info for the OS. Now, when the approved data disks are aggregated, 5X7=35, that is why you see a pool of that size. I hope that helps. -
I figured that out late, and I should have deleted my question, but thank you very much for the response.
