Im a computer tech for 250years.. Im thinking of getting security plus but do I need to take network plus before security plus. thanks

Network+ is not a prerequisite to th Security+ certification. If you're familiar with networking and can configure security settings on network devices, then Security+ is right up your alley. If you're not sure what to configure and where to configure security settings. I would recommend you view the Network+ security as a refresher. If the refresher is foreign sounding and you've not had server experience, you may want the review Network+ and Security+ content.
