Hi Anthony, Ronnie,
I think that in the video "BGP Peer Troubleshooting" when explaining the configuration for eBGP multihop you should include also the static route to loopback 2.2.2.2 as part of the config.

Hi Robert!
I am confused by this request. Notice in the video, the first thing we do before setting up the first eBGP peering is that we test reachability to the 2.2.2.2 loopback. When we see that we can ping this address from the local router, we know we can successfully configure the peering using loopbacks. In fact, a better ping test is to ping the loopback of the remote router using the source address of the local loopback.
The reachability does not need to be provided by static routes, it can be done with a dynamic routing protocol.
Now, with all of this said, I might be totally missing your point, so if you would not mind elaborating, that would be awesome!
Thank you so much for your question and I sure hope you are LOVING your ENARSI studies here at ITProTV!

Hi Anthony,
Yes, I totally get that but I think you should specify that in order for the eBGP multihop configuration to work properly the static route to 2.2.2.2 needs to be added.
I saw the route in first place and know its purpose but maybe it doesn't do any harm to mention about it specifically.
