Hi, the instructor mentioned in this video at 06:40 that Windows has ELAM. What I don't understand is, by the term 'has' means Windows comes pre-installed with ELAM or you go the Microsoft website to download it? Or, is it a kind of framework that you are given to build your ELAM detection system upon it for your system?

This was a built-in feature into the WindowsOS beginning with Windows 8. It allows the built-in anti-virus to evaluate all 3rd party boot time devices or applications. This is the 1st system kernel driver that starts in the WindowsOS before any 3rd party software or drive is loaded into RAM--this makes it part of the Secure Boot.
