Hi Team,
i have an issue where i have deployed an FFU image onto a machine that consists of a 1TB HD. the image has loaded onto the machine but when i go into disk manager i can see there is still 600+GB of unallocated space. i can not extent the C: Drive partition as there is a recovery partition in between C; drive partition and unallocated partition.
The FFU image was captured from a reference machine that consisted of a 256GB hard drive.
Please let me know if this is possible?
You would need to remove the recovery partition in order to extend the C:
There is third-party software that could move the recovery partition so the unallocated space was next to C:, but I haven't used them so I can't say how well they work.

so windows will not allow me to rearrange the partitions, only third-party software?
Unfortunately, I don't think so, not rearrange.
With Windows, your option would be to delete the recovery partition. Then you could extend the C partition.
You could also recreate the FFU image on a larger hard drive.
Many Microsoft deployment methodologies have moved away from using images. They are not as flexible.

I would say Configuration Manager and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, as well as Autopilot.
