It looks like this series was filmed over 2 years ago. The syllabus is changing in 2 weeks. It's possible that the syllabus changed once already since the filming of this series.
Does anyone know how much out-of-date the current videos for MD-101 are?
The current videos for MD-101 are still relevant, This is why we are updating the other Microsoft courses first, they have more significant changes.
Most of the changes to MD-101 from the previous update were based on name changes, Office 365 -> Microsoft 365, and the changes to the names of the Microsoft Defender suite of products.
The changes being implemented on May 25, 2021 are minimal. There are two. They changed the name from Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. They also removed the sideloading of apps objective.

What about MDT and Desktop Analytics? You don't cover them at all. It looks like they really want us to be familiar with MDT. The videos cover WCD from ADK instead of MDT. The videos also cover device health and upgrade readiness, which don't exist anymore, instead of Desktop Analytics.
Those topics will be covered in the update of the series. In the mean time, here is a video I did on MDT, to get you started.
