I moved this to CompTIA category for better visibility!
I'm confused by your question. Are you typing in the
terminal
on a macOS machine? Or on you on a Windows machine running bootcamp or a Windows Virtual Machine? the\
is normally on a Windows machines rather than a macOS terminal. So please let us know. I would check your keyboard layout setting too.Cordially,

@Ronnie-Wong Sorry for the confusion. My computer I'm using for the labs is an iMac. So I'm using the labs and trying to type in the command prompt on the labs virtual Window 10 machine. So I'm not using the Terminal for this lab. My Mac's keyboard layout is set to US. While using the virtual machine the ? works fine everywhere (search bar etc) just fine. Just not while typing in the command prompt tool.

- which lab your trying to do by course and the lab name.
- explain again what is happening on your mac keyboard.
- which browser you're using
This may be issue with their interface reading your keystroke weirdly... don't really know but they would be your best source to help directly with this. support@practice-labs.com
