Maybe its just me, but I find that the ordering of episodes seem a bit out of place. To explain more, let me use the Network + episodes as an example. This topic starts out with "Various Network Devices" which talks about Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.. ok, that isn't real bad to start out with, but then the next episode is "Networking Services" Which talks about VPNs, IPSEC, etc... and I don't know, maybe that's ok, but do you think it would be even better to start off talking about topologies or OSI model?or other things like that? I guess what i'm getting at, is, do you think you could start each topic (A+, Net+, CCNA, etc..) with the basics and then advancing? Or do you feel how it is set up now, is good? I'm just curious really... by the way, I really love ITPROtv!! Keep up the good work and keep the episodes coming!
Unsolved Episode ordering
@matthew-montgomery It seems to me that the ordering of the videos is in the order of the exam objectives. I know if you read the Mike Meyers Network+ or any book for example it's always set up in a way for the topics to build on one another.
I'm studying for CCENT and I grabbed the Wendell Odom book and I watch ITProTV for the added in-depth information for full coverage!
Here's how it's done. Any time you start to "reorder" the topics in episodes like Network+ or anything else like it. It gives someone else a chance to say "you used our material to order your course" and you're infringing. We do not have the rights to do so. So the order they appear in is the order found on the exam objectives. So @James-Schickley is right about the order.
@James-Schickley also gives you a great example then on how to match it up with any study guide you desire to buy. Take his example of Wendell Odom's excellent text. You cover that material and then look for the objective we cover with ours. I like it and I think it's an excellent way to get the full value of your study methods!
